World Cup Fever

Italy and France battle it out tonight for the World Cup Championship. It should be a very exciting game, especially since I was never a soccer, er, I mean football fan until I moved to Italy. The Italian team has been doing great but I am in awe of the French player Zidane. He is one awesome football player.
Obviously everyone here in Rome is in a frenzy. People have been honking their horns all day and if Italy wins (yay Italy!) we expect a full night of chaos and celebrations.
We tried to get our cats into the spirit but they weren't very cooperative. Guess I can't blame them wanting to tear off the extra layers in this heat.
