I felt tempted to comment with some enthusiastic reasons why Italian TV is so hateworthy, but every time I tried, I realized the sheer genius in the simplicity of your post. There is nothing to add.
me too and I only get the stripped down version here in the US hehe I know Rai International is only a sampling of the channels but geez how many freaking singing shows can you have?? stacy
Shellina, in fact I had a long list that just kept growing and escalating into a small novel so I just kept it simple and figured everyone would understand. I will say that Italians LOVE showgirls, singing, and reality tv. Texas Espresso- RAI is pretty much the only channels I get. Imagine how many variety shows I've had the pleasure of trying to sit through. Or the horrible 80s hollywood movies that are always dubbed into Italian. Or the soccer fanatic mentality or the really really trashy soap operas...but I could go on and on so I'll spare you.
Try TVU networks (just google it). It's great and free. You can watch american tv real time (california time). I am such a dork..this past week I was watching Lost and Grey's Anatatomy at six in the morning! By the way ..I really like your blog!
